If you’re going down into the woods today… you better bring your dancing shoes.
Ah, the festival season this year has been something special, hasn’t it? Despite the delay of “Freedom Day” which means things started at the end of July, it has been pretty amazing to find all of our favorite summer events.
And this year, more and more events have stretched into September, making up for lost time. So, why not end your festival season at the end of the month with a brand new event? A resounding yes, I hope.
Electric Woodlands kicks off its first year at Bygrove Woods in Baldock, just 30 minutes from London. Plus you will get an extra cool woodland setting to really make the trip September 25 worthy of interest.
Plus, if that wasn’t enough, the lineup is completely and totally stacked with some of the biggest names in dance music. Three stages will reside in the setting of the forest, each with its own flavor of its electronics.
The main stage will be hosted by DnB Allstars, so you can expect personalities like Chase and Status (DJ set), Hybrid Minds, Dimension and special guests DJ Hazard and Bad Boy Chiller Crew.
On the Crucast stage you will find artists such as Skepsis, Darkzy, Dj Q b2b Jamie Duggan, alongside the special guest of the evening, Flava D. In addition, the Foreverland stage hosts Richey Ahmed, Detlaf b2b Latmun, Alisha and special guest John Summit.
It’s easy to get to, with shuttles carrying event attendees every 10 minutes from Stevenage station. Plus, once there, you’ll have plenty of places to purchase quality food and drink when you need to take a break from all the dancing.
For a day-long weekend getaway to end festival season, it’s unlikely to be much better than Electric Woodlands. Find your tickets here.
To enter the festival, you must have one of the following: a negative lateral flow Covid-19 test of less than 48 hours before 9/25, proof of double vaccination, or natural immunity (proof that you have had Covid-19 in the past 180 days and finished isolating).
