*Tiffany Haddish, Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, and Jada Pinkett Smith are collectively up for a trophy at next week’s MTV Movie & TV Awards for their epic dance battle scene.

The performance of the “Black-ish” cast of “Freedom,” a musical departure from the ABC sitcom that kicked off Season 4 and which dealt with the so-called freedom from slavery, which did not mean being free from racism systemic, is also in competition.

“Girls Trip” and “Black-ish” face stiff competition from six other contenders, including by Zendaya romantic duet “Rewrite the Stars” with Zac Efron in the musical “The Greatest Showman”.

Others include Chrissy Metz nervously singing “Landslide” from NBC’s “This Is Us”, Riverdale’s “A Night We’ll Never Forget” and the stars of “Stranger Things” Millie Bobby Brown and Finn wolfhard Snow Ball dances to The Police’s classic “Every Breath You Take”.

The end credits of “Call Me by Your Name” and the dream streak “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” from “Love, Simon” round out the category, which aims to celebrate “the greatest use of music in movies and television and includes iconic moments from the past year.

Fans are invited to vote for their favorites via social media, and the winner will be announced at the ceremony, which takes place on June 18 at 9 p.m. EST in Santa Monica.

Haddish will host the evening, with guest presenters including Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, Zendaya, Michael B. Jordan, Seth Rogen and Gina Rodriguez.
