(March 31, 2022, New York, NY, JNS thread) The Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA) is delighted to announce that the 70th Annual Israel Folk Dance and Arts Festival will take place on Sunday, April 3 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College, 524 West 59th Street, New York.
The festival, which will run from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., features generations of dancers and musicians from the United States, South America and Israel. Together they share the diverse styles and moods of music and dance that make up Israel’s evolving folk culture, in an exciting and uplifting stage production.
JNF-USA Presidential Advisor Bob Levine said, “Dance is an important part of Israel’s rich cultural mosaic, and the Folk Dance Festival is an incredible look at the beauty of Israeli dance that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The Israel Folk Dance Festival and Festival of the Arts is a project of the Israeli Dance Institute in partnership with the Jewish National Fund-USA with support from the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, the New York Board of Rabbis and Harkness Foundation. for Dance.
